Teachers say we are terrible, but really we are curious, clever, nice, friendly, brilliant sincere , optimistic, active.. AND VERY, VERY INTELLIGENT!!! In English we are very good... as you can see, even if our teacher often doesn't agree.
We live in Castelnuovo Magra, a medieval village in the north west of Italy, in Ligury, between La Spezia and Carrara. Castelnuovo has a rich history. It was born in 1235, when the Bishop of Luni, a Roman town near Castelnuovo, founded the village and Castelnuovo became the town of the Bishops of Luni. In Castelnuovo we can visit Querciola Square where you can see the ruins of the ancient castle of the Bishops, where in the Middle Ages Dante Alighieri came to sign a famous peace with the Bishop. In Santa Maria Maddalena Church, you can see a famous painting of the calvary by Peter Brueghel the YoungIn August, every year we remember this event with a great historical parade
